 announced a special fare of $899 roundtrip from Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  to Auckland. The special fare is available for purchase by April 1, 2003, for travel between May 1 and August 31, 2003. This fare represents savings of nearly 40 percent off the regular advertised fare.
