Air Jamaica Announces Flight Cancellations for Saturday, July 16, 2005 Due to Hurricane Emily.


KINGSTON, Jamaica The City of Kingston is the capital and largest city of Jamaica. It is located on the southeastern coast of the island country at Coordinates: .  -- Air Jamaica Jamaica (jəmā`kə), independent state within the Commonwealth (2005 est. pop. 2,732,000), 4,232 sq mi (10,962 sq km), coextensive with the island of Jamaica, West Indies, S of Cuba and W of Haiti.  has cancelled its full flight schedule for tomorrow, Saturday Saturday: see week; Sabbath.  July 16, 2005 as a result of Hurricane Emily The name Emily has been used for five tropical cyclones in the Atlantic Ocean, and five tropical cyclones in the Eastern Pacific Ocean. It was used in the Eastern Pacific before the formal naming system was instituted, and then it was used on the old four-year lists. . This includes all service into and out of Jamaica, and all inter-island service.

As a result, the carrier has relaxed its ticket-change restrictions, allowing passengers booked for travel beginning between now and July 17, 2005 to change their itineraries without penalty. Air Jamaica will issue travel vouchers for future travel on Air Jamaica equal to the total value of their original booking. Vouchers may be redeemed re·deem
