Air France summer schedule features the only A340 between Chicago and Paris.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 18, 1997--Air France said its summer schedule that begins April 23 will be operated exclusively with Airbus A340 four-engine aircraft.

Only Air France flies four-engine aircraft between Chicago and Paris.

Daily nonstop flights link O'Hare with the Air France hub at Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG (CDMA Development Group, Costa Mesa, CA, www.cdg.org) A membership organization founded in 1995 that promotes CDMA wireless systems worldwide. It is involved with developing new features and services and promoting standards that provide global compatibility and interoperability. ), where connecting flights are available to and from over 20 cities within France and over 50 elsewhere in Europe.

Flight 051 departs O'Hare daily at 8:10 p.m., arriving CDG the next day at 11:15 a.m. Return flight 054 departs CDG daily at 4:05 p.m., arriving O'Hare the same day at 6:10 p.m.

Air France transatlantic flights are non-smoking in all seating areas. In addition, the A340 is equipped with an Air France feature that pleases smokers and non-smokers alike, the stand-up stand·up or stand-up
