The second flight is in addition to regular Air France Air France in full Compagnie Internationale Air France French passenger and cargo airline with more than 200 destinations in some 80 countries. It introduced supersonic Concorde service in 1976, but financial loss led the company to cease its Concorde year-round daily service. Air France has the only 747 nonstops between LAX and Paris. Air France offers a daily departure at 10:30 p.m., arriving at Paris/Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG (CDMA Development Group, Costa Mesa, CA, www.cdg.org) A membership organization founded in 1995 that promotes CDMA wireless systems worldwide. On Thursdays the additional flight departs at 3:30 p.m. and arrives at 10:50 a.m. on Friday. Returning to LAX, a flight departs CDG daily at 10:50 a.m., arriving the same day at 1:15 p.m. On Wednesday/Thursday, the second flight departs at 1:50 p.m., arriving at 4:15 p.m. On Friday/Saturday/Sunday, the second departure is at 7:50 p.m., arriving the same day at 10:15 p.m. Convenient connections are available at CDG, the Air France hub, to and from over 100 points in France, the rest of Europe, Africa and the Middle East. All flights offer L'Espace, the new Air France first and business class service with roomier seats, more leg room and, in first class, the industry's first seat that reclines 180 degrees to become a bed.
