Air Evac Services, Inc. Receives Full CAMTS Accreditation.

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 24, 2000

Officials of Air Evac Services, Inc. announced that the Phoenix, Arizona-based company has received full accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS). The international accreditation process, developed exclusively by and for air medical and critical care ground services, focuses on quality of patient care and safety of the transport environment. Accreditation is granted after an in-depth review by commission representatives.

"Our company and its personnel voluntarily underwent the intense audit by CAMTS as a way of documenting the high level of patient care we offer in air medical and ground transports," said Tom Smith, Director of Air Evac Services, Inc.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Petroleum Helicopters Inc., Air Evac Services, Inc. offers helicopter, ground, commercial medical escort, and fixed wing services for critically ill and injured patients. Highly sophisticated critical care RN/Paramedic and specialty care RN/Respiratory Therapist teams provide in-flight patient care.

The Air Evac fleet, which offers patient transport within Arizona, the continental US, Canada and Mexico, includes American Eurocopter AS 350 B3's, BK 117, and BO-105 helicopter ambulances and three conquest 441 fixed wing aircraft.
