In a letter sent to the ABX board yesterday, Dasburg noted that the formal indication of interest sent late last month came after a number of informal discussions between himself and ABX President and CEO Joe Hete about a potential merger and that ABX should be able to issue a "meaningful response" by Wednesday. He added that Astar would withdraw its indication of interest absent a reply. Jul 17, 2007
