FedEx FedEx says Memphis landing procedures are safe FedEx is protesting changes to landing procedures at Memphis, Tenn., International Airport. The FAA changed the procedures after air traffic controllers said the flight patterns put pilots at risk. "We've followed these arrival procedures for 20 years and know it's safe or we wouldn't be flying them. We look forward to working with the agency during their review. The FAA will review this safety assessment," a FedEx spokesman says.
