Air Broadband and NSK Corporation Sign Reseller Agreement; Air Broadband and NSK Team Up to Enable Wi-Fi Japan.

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- Air Broadband Communications, Inc., announces an agreement with NSK Corporation that will bring the Airobatics(R) product line -- wireless switches and management software designed for large-scale 802.11 WLAN networks -- to the broader range of customers in the Japan marketplace.

With patents pending on fast layer 2/3 roaming wireless access, Air Broadband is one of the first companies to offer a wireless switch that can handle the vast traffic demands of large scale 802.11 environments like those that exist in Japan. "This is one of our major reseller agreements in Japan," says Air Broadband president Kenneth Kang, "and we'll continue to partner with the major Japanese NI (Network Integration)/SI (System Integration) players in order to address the diverse applications of Soft Roaming(TM) enabled WLAN technology."

NSK Corporation, Japan's leading NI (Network Integration) company, will market and sell the Air Broadband switches and management software to large enterprise environments and carriers that deploy WLAN infrastructure. "NSK has been a leader in envisioning the future of information technology in the Japanese market," says Kang, "and we're ready to fulfill the WLAN needs of their existing and new customers in VoWLAN (Voice over WLAN) and mobile monitoring sectors."
