Air Berlin 737-800s to fly with new Sony programmable audio/video entertainment system.


SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 9, 1996--Sony Trans Com announced at a WAEA WAEA World Airline Entertainment Association  media conference that is has won an award to equip eight Air Berlin 737-800s with its just introduced standard body Programmable Audio Video Entertainment System (PAVES).

For enhance passenger viewing, each Air Berlin 737-800 will be fitted with 20 of Sony's industry leading 8.6 inch LCD Slimline monitors housed in PSU PSU - power supply unit  units mounted in passenger service unit tracks under the bag bins.
