:ANS (ANS Communications, Inc, Purchase, NY) An ISP, Internet backbone and provider of private data network services, founded in 1990 as Advanced Network & Services, Inc., by IBM, MCI and Merit (consortium of Michigan universities). ) is pleased to announce that today it has signed a letter of intent with Chatham Forest Products Inc. ("Chatham"), for the purchase of a proposed oriented strand board Oriented strand board, or OSB, or waferboard, or Sterling board (UK), is an engineered wood product formed by layering strands (flakes) of wood in specific orientations.  ("OSB") mill project based in Lisbon, New York Lisbon is a town in St. Lawrence County, New York, United States. The population was 4,047 at the 2000 census. Reportedly the town is named after the capital of Portugal. Yet, the 1810 US Census for the town shows the town's name as Lisburn, a city located in Northern Ireland . Execution of a definitive agreement is conditional upon the successful completion by Ainsworth of its due diligence review, as well as other conditions including fiber supply assurance, completion of a site suitability review and assurances of financing, which are expected to occur during the second quarter of 2005.
