Aimetis Appoints Rein Raud to Board of Directors; Former Honeywell Executive Brings Over 20 Years Experience in Physical Security Market to Aimetis.


WATERLOO, Ontario Coordinates:

 -- Aimetis Corp., the leader in intelligent video surveillance, today announced that Rein Raud, chief executive officer of Sigmabond Technologies Corporation has joined Aimetis' board of directors.

Prior to his current position as CEO at Sigmabond Technologies Corporation, Mr. Raud spent 23 years at Honeywell International, one of the world's most advanced technology companies. During his tenure at Honeywell, Mr. Raud held a number of positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as VP/GM of Honeywell's worldwide $550 million security install and service business. His accomplishments include the strategic transformation of the Honeywell Security service and install business to that of a global security and access control product and systems manufacturing and distribution business by leading the acquisition and integration of the $1.6B Pittway Corporation into Honeywell.
