Aiding New York City Relief Efforts, Panasonic Donates Flashlights, Head-Mounted Lamps, Batteries.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 2001

In support of relief efforts related to Tuesday's terrorist attack on Manhattan's World Trade Center, Panasonic is donating 126 cases of Panasonic-brand products.

These items -- 1000 flashlights, 1000 "Task Master" head-mounted lamps, 3000 packages of alkaline alkaline /al·ka·line/ (al´kah-lin) (-lin)
1. having the reactions of an alkali.

2. having a pH greater than 7.0.
