AiTS Approved for General Services Administration Information Technology Services Contract; Award Increases Range of Contract Vehicles AiTS Offers Federal Government.

RESTON, Va. -- American Information Technology Solutions (AiTS) was recently awarded a GSA Information Technology Services (Schedule 70) contract (GS35F0392R) for an initial five-year period (3/10/05 thru 3/9/10) with three additional five-year option periods. The award of this contract recognizes AiTS' qualification to provide Information Technology solutions to a wide range of government agencies, including state and local government agencies that are now eligible to purchase AiTS' services via the company's Schedule 70 contract, as authorized by the cooperative purchasing provisions of the federal E-Government Act of 2002 (Section 211).

With the addition of the GSA Information Technology Services contract, the range of contract vehicles that AiTS offers federal government agencies has expanded significantly. Other contract vehicles available through AiTS include the AiTS GSA MOBIS contract, parent company Indotronix International Corporation's GSA Information Technology Services contract, and IBM's MMAD-I contract with the U.S. Army.

Streamlined Procurement Vehicle

GSA contracts offer a streamlined procurement vehicle that significantly reduces contracting time. The GSA has reviewed vendor capabilities, negotiated rates, and pre-qualified vendors to provide products and services.
