), Ahmed Turk, said that Turkey's new openness initiative towards Kurds cannot be achieved without amendments to the constitution.

The comment of the Kurdish leader came during a party conference held in Ankara, Turkey, on Sunday Sunday: see Sabbath; week. .

"We will continue our efforts to solve the Kurdish issue," he said.

The DTP leader went on to say that Kurdish groups are not obstacles to a solution for the Kurdish question in Turkey.

The Democratic Society Party (DTP) was founded in 2005. It seeks a peaceful solution to the Kurdish issue in Turkey. Kurds compose a significant portion of the population in that country. Most of them live in the south-eastern part of the country.
