Dr. Dinel was formally a research scientist with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada The Department of Agriculture and Agri-Food, also referred to as Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) (French: Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada), is the department of the government of Canada with responsibility for policies governing agriculture  from 1974, where he led a study on the impact of bio-solids, and the development of value-added products from residual and naturally occurring organic matter. Dr. Dinel has become a world-renown expert and has published numerous articles in this field. Educated in Canada, Dr. Dinel obtained his B.Sc. in plant biology and biochemistry; his M.Sc in Palynology pal·y·nol·o·gy
