Agrium Inc. (At Closing People).

John Van Brunt, CEO of Agrium Inc., Calgary, Alberta, announces his retirement, which will be effective in September 2003. In line with the succession plan, the board of directors announces they will be appointing Mike Wilson, currently president and chief operating officer, to the position of president and CEO. Van Brunt will remain as vice chairman of the board and continue in his current capacity with various fertilizer industry associations.
