:AGU) announced today that on February 14, 2005, it will redeem for cash all of its outstanding eight percent Canadian Originated Preferred Securities due June 30, 2047 (the "Preferred Securities"). In accordance with the terms of the Preferred Securities, the Corporation has delivered a notice of redemption to The Bank of New York The Bank of New York, abbrieviated to BNY, was a global financial services company that existed until its merger with the Mellon Financial Corporation on July 2, 2007.[1] The bank now continues under the new name of The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation. , as trustee for the holders of the Preferred Securities.  will be 100 percent of the principal amount ($25 per Preferred Security) plus accrued and unpaid interest to the date of such redemption. Preferred Security holders will receive redemption proceeds on February 14, 2005.
