Agriculture futures fall on CBOT


Soybean futures jumped, while other agricultural prices fell Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for September delivery fell 0.5 cent to $6.665 a bushel; December corn fell 1.5 cents to $3.49 a bushel; December oats lost 1.5 cents to $2.59 a bushel; November soybeans rose 10 cents to $8.8175 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures climbed on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

October live cattle rose 0.5 cent to 95.05 cents a pound; September feeder cattle rose 0.78 cent to $1.1535 a pound; October lean hogs picked up 0.6 cent to 71.4 cents a pound; February pork bellies picked up 2.15 cents to close at 95.5 cents a pound.
