Under his leadership UPI has grown into a significant player in the post-patent market, which today accounts for 65 percent of available chemistries and one-third of all chemical sales. Prior to joining UPI Pritchard worked at American Cyanamid American Cyanamid was a large, diversified, American chemical manufacturer. Lederle Laboratories, maker of Centrum and Stresstabs vitamins, was Cyanamid's pharmaceutical division. Davis & Geck was the company's medical device division.  for more than 15 years, most recently as president and general manager of Latin American operations.
