The Agricultural Retailers Association (ARA), Washington, D.C., hires Jim Thrift as the new vice president of regulatory policy and corporate relations. Thrift's career spans more than 30 years in the crop protection industry, most recently with BASF, where he served as director of business relations, and previously with American Cyanamid.
