Agribusiness Forum Addresses Broad-Based Issues.


The first annual Agribusiness Forum will feature programming to appeal to all segments of the industry. The forum scheduled for October 8-10 in Washington, D.C., will be have an interactive format and will encourage participation from attendees.

The goal of the forum will be to engage senior agribusiness management, association, government and academia representatives in a unique cross-industry dialogue on issues, policies, and trends that will impact agribusiness, agriculture and the food and fiber industries. Whatever is hot will be addressed.

The forum will incorporate a combination of keynote sessions and concurrent breakout

 sessions. Additional features will include the Executive Management Roundtable involving senior management in agribusiness companies who will interact with speakers and participants. Other session topics will include International Developments in Ag; Agribusiness Under Attack; Influencing Mainstream Media and What Does Ag Want from the Farm Bill.

NAMA members will be eligible for a special discounted rate. In addition, there will be a special government, academic and association rate. Details on speakers will be out soon.

10:30-Noon      Executive Management Roundtable
12:30-2:00 p.m. Lunch with Keynote Speaker
2:30-5:00 p.m.  Breakout Sessions
2:30-5:00 p.m.  Executive Management Roundtable
6:00-7:00 p.m.  Reception

Wednesday, October 10
7:30-9:00 a.m.  Breakfast with Keynote Speaker
9:30 a.m.-Noon  NAMA Board of Directors Meeting
