A person who has been designated. of Hopkins as Ford's replacement. Hopkins, 62, has over 30 years experience in the seed industry. From January 1994 to July 1996 he served as vice president, Mycogen Corp. and general manager of Mycogen Seeds (NASDAQ:MYCO MYCO Museum of York County (South Carolina) ). As corporate vice president for Mycogen Corp. he worked on strategic alliances, joint ventures, acquisitions and mergers and was responsible for all global seed activities including companies in France, Italy and Argentina. As general manager for Mycogen Seeds, he was responsible for consolidating four autonomous operating companies with seven product brands into one unified company with one product brand. From 1963 to 1992, Hopkins had a wide variety of responsibilities with four different seed companies.
