With MeetingPlace, Bell Atlantic can offer its federal government customers a comprehensive conference and collaboration solution for advanced voice conferencing integrated with desktop applications such as Microsoft Outlook / Exchange and the emerging applications for data conferencing over the Internet.

Federal agencies in particular have been significant users of voice conferencing as a means of controlling travel costs but also to increase employee productivity during times of budget cutting and downsizing.
