Agranat Systems Furthers Agreement with Leading SNMP Provider Enabling Web-Based Network Management.

MAYNARD, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 8, 1999--

EmWeb to be integrated with Epilogue, Integrated

Systems' SNMP agent

Agranat Systems, Inc., experts in Web-based device access and management, today announced a technology partnership with Integrated Systems, Inc. (ISI ISI International Sensitivity Index, see there ) (Nasdaq:INTS INTS Interdisciplinary Studies

). Under the partnership, EmWeb/NM, Agranat's recent embedded Web technology product family addition, will be integrated with ISI's Epilogue SNMp (Simple Network Management Protocol) A widely used network monitoring and control protocol. Data are passed from SNMP agents, which are hardware and/or software processes reporting activity in each network device (hub, router, bridge, etc. (tm). The alliance enables original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to leverage their investment in simple network management protocol (SNMP) Web-based management solutions.

"To meet today's demand for Web-enabled SNMP networking products, ISI and Agranat have joined in a technology partnership to offer OEMs a robust solution," said Joe Addiego, vice president of marketing for ISI. "Our Epilogue SNMp customers now can use EmWeb/NM to build Web-based, real-time access solutions to SNMP data without requiring additional code. The result -- lower costs and faster time to market."

Both Agranat and ISI have many successful implementations in the datacom market and already share a number of clients. These partnerships now offer their collaborative customers enhanced management solutions. Under a similar partnership, Agranat has integrated EmWeb with ISI's real-time operating system (operating system) Real-Time Operating System - (RTOS) Any operating system where interrupts are guaranteed to be handled within a certain specified maximum time, thereby making it suitable for control of hardware in embedded systems and other time-critical applications.  (RTOS (1) (RealTime Operating System) An operating system designed for use in a real time computer system. See real time system, embedded system, process control and OS-9. ) pSOS+ giving end-users the ability to access a variety of embedded devices over the Internet from any Web browser.

"The union between EmWeb/NM and pSOS+ has already proven to be beneficial for datacom manufacturers," said Ian Agranat, president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Agranat Systems, Inc. "Now, the seamless integration of EmWeb/NM with Epilogue SNMp will offer even more extensive solutions to our shared customers."

1.1 server and a development environment. EmWeb/NM's development flexibility and server scalability permits the creation of sophisticated Web-based embedded device access and management solutions. Industry leaders and innovators recognize that EmWeb/NM's scaleable server and flexible, compiler-based development environment provides the smallest, most efficient implementation available.
