Chapin, Lydia, was born in Mendon, Suffolk County, Massachusetts on 2 February, 1712. House after an illness. Her husband Walter C. Berkowicz died in 1982.
She is survived by a son, Walter J. Berkowicz and his wife Karyn of Woodstock CT; 2 daughters, Kathyrn Berkowicz and CarolAnn Berkowicz both of Whitinsville; 4 grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. The children of one's children. She was sister of the late James Meagher, Charles Meagher, Catherine Meagher, Eleanor Hagan and a cousin Paul Meagher. Born in Millville on Sept. 26, 1918 she was the daughter of James and Mary (Buckley) Meagher. After the death of her mother, Agnes and her siblings siblings npl (formal) → frères et sœurs mpl (de mêmes parents) were raised by their aunt Ester Meagher. She lived many years in Millville before moving to Blackstone.
Mrs. Berkowicz was a winder at several area textile companies and later worked at Tupperware in Blackstone. She was a member of St. Augustines Church in Millville and was a member of their St. Monicas Guild and various other church groups. Her funeral will be held Mon. June 4, from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Augustines Church, 17 Lincoln St. Millville. Burial will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Sun. June 3 from 4 to 8 p.m. In lieu of Instead of; in place of; in substitution of.
