May 30 at Lydia Taft Lydia Chapin (Taft) was born February 2, 1712 at Mendon, Massachusetts and died November 9, 1778 at Uxbridge, Massachusetts. Lydia Chapin Taft was America's First Woman Voter. She is survived by a son, Walter J. Berkowicz of Woodstock CT; 2 daughters, Kathyrn Berkowicz and CarolAnn Berkowicz both of Whitinsville; 4 grandchildren GRANDCHILDREN, domestic relations. She lived many years in Millville before moving to Blackstone. Mrs. Berkowicz was a winder at several area textile companies and later worked at Tupperware in Blackstone. She was a member of St. Augustines Church in Millville and was a member of their St. Monicas Guild and various other church groups. She was an avid reader, enjoyed the Boston Red Sox The Boston Red Sox are a professional baseball team based in Boston, Massachusetts. The Red Sox are a member and currently champions of the Eastern Division of Major League Baseball’s American League. From to the present, the Red Sox have played in Fenway Park. and spending time "Spending Time" is the first single released by Christian artist Stellar Kart. The lyrics describe the band members desire to spend "more time with God". "Sometimes it’s a real struggle to spend time with God. with her family at the ocean. Her funeral will be held Mon. June 4, from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Augustines Church 17 Lincoln St. Millville. Burial will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery.
