Agion Technologies Appoints Cyndy Hunter as New Director of Marketing.

WAKEFIELD, Mass. -- Agion Technologies Inc., a leading provider of silver-based antimicrobial solutions, today announced that it has named marketing veteran Cyndy Hunter as Director of Marketing. Ms. Hunter has more than twenty years of global marketing experience with leading organizations, including Polaroid. Hunter's expertise will play an instrumental role as Agion continues its efforts to propel Agion's brand into a household name.

Prior to joining Agion, Ms. Hunter has served as owner and principal of Hunter Marketing, a marketing consulting organization focused on the branding, positioning and marketing programs for an array of small and early-stage organizations. Previously, Ms. Hunter served as the director of marketing for Polaroid's Graphics Imaging division, where she led the worldwide launch of three new product lines. Within the first year of shipment, each product line achieved 10% marketshare in its respective category. She was instrumental in growing the Graphics Imaging division from $2M to $30M in three years time. Ms. Hunter has also held product manager and marketing positions at Iris Graphics (a subsidiary of Scitex) and NEC Information Systems.

Ms. Hunter received a B.S. degree in economics from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has also continued her studies with professional courses from both Smith College and Notre Dame University.
