Agility DGS wins marine storage contract worth upto us $140 million.


Summary: Agility Defense & Government Services today said its Taos Industries subsidiary won a contract to store, distribute and maintain equipment for the US Marine Corps at 15 bases within the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. Agility Defense & Government Services today said its Taos Industries subsidiary won a contract to store, distribute and maintain equipment for the US Marine Corps at 15 bases within the United States and five others around the world.

The one-year contract includes six one-year options and is worth up to $140 million over seven years. The contract, known as the US Marine Corps Consolidated Storage Program (CSP (1) (Certified Systems Professional) An earlier award for successful completion of an ICCP examination in systems development. Agility DGS is a leading logistics provider to the US military and government. Under the contract, its Taos unit will store, distribute and maintain Marine Corps field and infantry combat gear, as well as chemical and biological defense equipment. The equipment covered includes personal gear such as tents, shelters, camouflage netting, packs and tools, along with specialized suits and masks that protect Marines from chemical, biological and other threats.

). Non-profit agencies affiliated with NIB will staff the issue-and-recovery facility at Quantico Marine Base.

"The CSP contract gives us a significant presence on every Marine base in the United States and around the world," Mongeon said. "It also is the first award we've won where we have an opportunity to partner with NIB."
