:A) and Cramer Systems today announced an agreement that will allow Agilent to resell and develop solutions using Cramer's line of inventory and automated provisioning The ability to set up new communications services for customers automatically. Carriers use automated provisioning to set up their network based on customers' requirements. Such systems control all network devices from a central console and greatly speed up deployment time from days to  applications. Agilent will resell these applications as part of its OSS portfolio of service assurance and delivery management solutions. Cramer's award-winning software presents and maintains an accurate inventory of network assets and capacity, matching incoming customer orders to available network resources and automatically selecting the best assets required to fulfill the order. Cramer's proven applications are expected to work with Agilent's OSS software to automate tedious and costly manual processes.

"Cramer's leadership in inventory management and provisioning is already helping service providers reduce operational costs and offer innovative services," said Giorgio Dina, vice president and general manager of Agilent's OSS Division. "The combined Cramer and Agilent solution will give customers an automated system that is expected to activate services in hours rather than weeks or months, which is critical to ensuring customer satisfaction."
