:A) has successfully implemented KnowledgePlanet's Human Capital Management application to manage its global workforce learning and development initiatives while substantially reducing program costs.

Agilent selected the KnowledgePlanet solution to reduce training program costs and improve access to learning and development resources for employees worldwide. The solution that operates in KnowledgePlanet's Application Hosting environment See hosted environment.  has been fully deployed to 43,000 employees and 2,000 customers in more than 40 countries.

Agilent now coordinates classroom-based training and delivers online learning for its extended enterprise.

The KnowledgePlanet Human Capital Management solution that enables Agilent to reduce training-related travel, logistics and administration expense, is expected to reduce Agilent's program costs by more than 60%. Web-based access to learning and development programs also raises the quality of service and improves access to learning programs for all users.

Agilent has implemented KnowledgePlanet Learning(SM), a single system within the KnowledgePlanet application suite. The Learning(SM) system allows Agilent to create, manage, and deliver learning resources in a variety of formats, with an emphasis on elearning.

Agilent opted to deploy its solution using KnowledgePlanet's industry-leading Application Hosting services to eliminate up-front capital investments and shorten implementation time. Agilent also elected to augment its solution with KnowledgePlanet Business Process Outsourcing Business process outsourcing (BPO) is the contracting of a specific business task, such as payroll, to a third-party service provider.
