Agilent Technologies Names Robert Nikl as Chief Financial Officer of Verigy Subsidiary.


PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE NYSE

:A) has named Robert J. "Bob" Nikl as chief financial officer (CFO See Chief Financial Officer. ) of its semiconductor test subsidiary, Verigy Ltd. Verigy designs, develops, manufactures and sells advanced test systems and solutions for the semiconductor industry.

Nikl, who will start with Verigy on June 20, was most recently senior vice president and chief financial officer of Asyst Technologies, Inc., a supplier of integrated hardware and software automation systems for the semiconductor and flat-panel-display manufacturing industries. Prior to his work at Asyst, Nikl was vice president, Finance, and CFO, Global Operations, at Solectron, a global contract manufacturer. Nikl also served as vice president, Finance, for Xerox Engineering Systems. He began his career with KPMG KPMG Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (accounting firm)
