John Henry Eaton (June 18, 1790 – November 17, 1856) was an American politician from Tennessee. He was born near Scotland Neck, Halifax County, North Carolina.
 as vice president of Finance and Corporate Development, effective immediately. In this role, Eaton will have responsibility for Agilent's Treasury and Corporate Development functions, and will serve as corporate treasurer.

Eaton, 61, has held the position of vice president, Corporate Development, since Agilent was founded in 1999. Prior to that, he spent 15 years at Hewlett-Packard Company in a range of marketing and business development assignments in the United Kingdom and United States.
