Agilent Technologies Inc. (NYSE:A) and Keynote Systems (Nasdaq:KEYN), today announced that Agilent Firehunter/e-Commerce now fully integrates Keynote's response-time measurements and Firehunter Internet service-assurance data within a single patented service model view. The combination of Keynote and Firehunter data provides over 3,000 Keynote customers with the most comprehensive, end-to-end management of Web site performance available today.

Firehunter/e-Commerce version 1.5 provides enterprises and service providers with simultaneous access to information collected globally by Keynote agents located outside the corporate firewall and to Firehunter data obtained from inside the firewall. The combination enables users to obtain an end-to-end view of real-time service performance, to drill-down and identify the source and ownership of problems, and to integrate Keynote data into Firehunter's automated SLA (service level agreement) monitoring and reporting.

Keynote provides subscription-based services that monitor Web site performance from over 1,500 measurement computers worldwide. Keynote serves more than 3,000 of the world's largest enterprises and Web-hosting companies, including many of the most prominent organizations in retail, banking, finance, computer technology and publishing.

Keynote continuously supplies objective information on Web site performance from an end-user's perspective, and enables customers to locate the source of problems that originate outside a firewall. Such problems include faulty "peering" relationships between Internet backbone providers, which can occur when end-users access a Web site via a different service provider from the service provider used by the Web site itself.

Firehunter/e-Commerce monitors e-business transactions and Web site health from behind a company's firewall, and excels at tracking infrastructure performance, load-balancing, Web servers, databases and applications such as BroadVision. Firehunter eases configuration of Keynote integration by automatically building a graphical service model based on the specific Keynote services to which customers subscribe. Firehunter service models incorporate patented technology that displays key hierarchical relations among the systems that support Web sites, and that enables users to easily identify the services and customers affected by performance problems.
