Trautman, most recently the vice president and general manager of Agilent's Communications Management Solutions Business Unit, has more than 28 years experience at Agilent and Hewlett-Packard. He joined HP in 1974 as an R&D engineer in Loveland, Colo., and later served as general manager of the Loveland Technology Center, the Manufacturing Test Division, and the Measurement Systems Division, which later became part of Agilent. In 1997, he was named general manager of HP's Computer Peripherals Bristol Division in Bristol, England, responsible for HP's tape drive business. Trautman re-joined Agilent last year to lead the integration of Objective Systems Integrators Inc., an operations support systems Operations Support Systems (also called Operational Support Systems or OSS) are computer systems used by telecommunications service providers.
