Agilent Technologies' Venture Unit Invests in Sirific Wireless Corp.'s Series B Round of Funding.

:A) today announced that Agilent Ventures has participated in the Series B Preferred Stock Stock shares that have preferential rights to dividends or to amounts distributable on liquidation, or to both, ahead of common shareholders.

Preferred stock is given preference over common stock. Holders of preferred stock receive dividends at a fixed annual rate.

Agilent Ventures' investment is part of the Series B round, led by TD Capital, which raised $17 million in equity. Agilent Ventures initially invested as part of the Series A funding round, completed in 2003.
