"Agilent's Envisium Power PLCC-4 LEDs fill the gap for mid-power illumination capabilities because of their excellent performance attributes," said Gina Roos, IP&E sections editor at eeProductCenter. "The innovative use of LED die and packaging allows Envisium LEDs to deliver high reliability under extended temperatures ranging between -40 C and 100 C, which is critical for many exterior lighting applications."

The Ultimate Products award is a product peer-review program developed by EE Times and eeProductCenter. Each quarter the editors of eeProductCenter select the 10 most significant new products in seven categories. Those products are then rated by engineers in the field. Ratings are based on technical significance and how likely the engineer would use the product.
