, CA 1/19/05-Agilent has announced that Edward W. (Ned) Barnholt will retire as CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , president and chairman effective March 1. He will be replaced by Executive Vice President and COO William P. (Bill) Sullivan. Currently, Mr. Sullivan also is responsible for the company's Electronic Products and Solutions Group.
