AgileVision Names Tor Dybfest Vice President of Finance, Chief Financial Officer.

AgileVision, a Princeton, New Jersey-based company dedicated to creating and delivering market-leading products for integration and broadband delivery of compressed video content, announced today the appointment of Tor H. Dybfest as its vice president of finance and chief financial officer. Mr. Dybfest will be responsible for all aspects of the company's financial management, including spearheading its current effort to raise its next round of venture funding.

AgileVision continues to strengthen its senior management team by adding core expertise from the key markets upon which it is focused, including the broadcast, cable and the Internet industries. Mr. Dybfest offers a wealth of international financial management experience and has had extensive familiarity with identification/evaluation of technology investments and IPO funding opportunities for high-tech companies.

Prior to joining AgileVision, Mr. Dybfest was the co-founder and Managing Partner of the Witherspoon Group, LLC, a firm specializing in financial and strategic advisory services for venture stage companies and their investors. Prior to Witherspoon, Mr. Dybfest held the position as managing director of PVR Securities, Inc., a NASD member investment-banking firm. In these capacities, Mr. Dybfest was responsible for identifying, evaluating and financing emerging technology companies, several of which went public on NASDAQ. He was also engaged in secondary offerings, mergers and acquisitions as well as strategic partnering.
