Agile Modeling (AM) is a collection of values, principles, and practices for modeling software that can be applied on a software development project in an effective manner. Although extreme Programming (XP) presents a methodology for faster software development, many developers find that XP does not allow for modeling time, which is critical to ensure that a project meets its proposed requirements. They have also found that standard modeling techniques that use the Unified Modeling Language See UML.
