 Access Control, Inc., stated today that, "We just happened to be at the right time with the right product. Our KeyLocker system is on target with the new FAA security suggestions."

Mr. Smith was referring to Agile's KeyLocker automated key control system.

KeyLocker is an automated system designed to enforce security rules before granting users access to sets of keys such as aircraft keys and other aviation asset keys. It is a secure metal enclosure with a display and keypad A small keyboard or supplementary keyboard keys; for example, the keys on a calculator or the number/cursor cluster on a computer keyboard. See programmable keypad.  on the front. The system works by first validating a user's identity and then subsequently ensuring that the particular user is allowed access to a desired set of keys.

On January 09, 2002, the FAA issued eleven suggestions for enhanced security at public-use airports. Four of these suggestions were directly related to enforcing strict key control.
