Additionally, the company has changed its name to Gold Coast Resources Inc. These changes are to facilitate the company's expansion. The company's growth includes the acquisition of the Akoon underground mine in the Tarkwa, Ghana Tarkwa is a town in the southwest of Ghana, located about 120 miles west of Accra.
