Agfa announces PrintCast (High Speed Global Printing Solution).

Novell is first user to benefit from Agfa's Chromapress-based

publishing and distribution network

Agfa outlined plans for a new global digital printing network, PrintCast, a service that manages and distributes digital files to the worldwide Chromapress user network for remote printing. At the same time, Agfa announced that Novell, the world's leading network software provider, is the first customer of this new service.

By enabling them to produce what they need, where and when they need it, they can leverage digital printing to expand the reach, flexibility, and impact of their materials. Among other potential advantages of Agfa's new service, Novell will be able to shorten time to market of printed materials and benefit from a global one-to-one marketing fulfillment strategy.
