Agfa Corporation's Desktop Products Group (USA-DTP), a leading provider of award-winning digital cameras and desktop scanners, announced today that they will offer a $20 mail-in rebate to those customers who purchase a SnapScan 1212p or SnapScan 1212u (off-white only) between October 1 and December 31, 1999. The SnapScan 1212u is a 36-bit, 600 x 1200 dpi, USB-compatible flatbed color scanner designed for home and small office use. The technical specifications of the SnapScan 1212u mirror those of the SnapScan 1212p - a PC specific, parallel-port version of the same scanner.

Both the SnapScan 1212p and the 1212u are currently available for the suggested price of $99.

"Now is the best time to buy a SnapScan 1212-series scanner," said Peter Spollett, National Sales Manager sales manager ngerente m/f de ventas
