Monotype Imaging, Inc , a global provider of fonts and font technologies, has licensed 12 customized fonts to Lagos Analysis Corporation (LANCOR). The fonts will be used with the world's first alphabet-specific Nigerian keyboard, KONYIN(TM), that LANCOR has co-developed with BSC (Binary Synchronous Communications) See bisync. International. The custom fonts were designed to support all the commonly used Nigerian special characters, each clearly labeled on the keyboard.
