Monotype Imaging, Inc , a global provider of fonts and font technologies, has licensed 12 customized fonts to Lagos Analysis Corporation (LANCOR). The fonts will be used with the world's first alphabet-specific Nigerian keyboard, KONYIN(TM), that LANCOR has co-developed with BSC (Binary Synchronous Communications) See bisync. International. The custom fonts were designed to support all the commonly used Nigerian special characters, each clearly labeled on the keyboard. Four basic weights (regular, italic, bold and bold italic) of each font were created in the three distinct styles found in most operating systems Operating systems can be categorized by technology, ownership, licensing, working state, usage, and by many other characteristics.
