Agfa Monotype Hires Ron Iversen as General Manager of OEM Color Group.

 today announced that Ron Iversen has joined the company as general manager of the company's OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  Color Group Color Group ASA was established in 1990 as a result of the merge between Jahre Line and Norway Line. The same year Color Line took over Fred. Olsen Lines cruiseferry operations, and then expanding its business further. . Iversen, with over 25 years experience in the digital imaging market, will direct color business aimed at OEMs and systems integrators that build color-enabled products.

Iversen joined Agfa Monotype from Zenographics, a leading developer of PC-based raster imaging technology, where he served as vice president of sales and marketing. Prior to that, he was president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Dycam, a pioneer in developing low-cost commercialized digital cameras. Iversen was also senior vice president and general manager of Datametrics, where he was responsible for establishing and growing a commercial division that developed a high-speed color printer based on proprietary technology. Prior to his association with Datametrics, Iversen spent eight years at Dataproducts (now Hitachi Koki Imaging Solutions) where he founded, managed and grew a laser printer division. Under his direction, the division achieved a market share of over 20 percent in the mid-range laser market segment. Color Products from Agfa Monotype

Agfa Monotype's color technology is packaged as tool kits that allow OEMs to produce high-quality halftone screens and color profiles in their own lab environments. By controlling color reproduction in-house, OEMs are able to minimize development time while achieving superior quality results.
