Agfa Drops Price On SnapScan 1212u; Off-White Version of Agfa's USB-Compatible Flatbed Scanner Now Available for $99.

Agfa Corporation's Desktop Products Group (USA-DTP), a leading provider of award-winning digital cameras and desktop scanners announced today that it has lowered the price on the SnapScan 1212u, a USB-compatible flatbed scanner A scanner that provides a flat, glass surface to hold pages of paper, books and other objects for scanning. The scan head is moved under the glass across the page. Sheet feeders are usually optionally available that allow multiple sheets to be fed automatically.  designed for home and small office use. Effective immediately, the "off-white" SnapScan 1212u is now available in the U.S. for the suggested price of $99.

ScanWise Features

ScanWise users will be impressed by the simplicity of the interface, which consists of four-tabbed menu cards on the left and a preview box to the right of the screen. The four-tabbed menu cards are logically ordered to lead the user through the simple scan process. The first determines the type of original to be scanned and the second incorporates the destination of the scan. The third menu allows automatic or manual color and tone changes while the fourth provides intuitive size settings.
