Agfa Announces Price Cut for SnapScan 1236u.

WILMINGTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 1, 2000

Agfa Corporation's Desktop Products Group (USA-DTP), a leading provider of award-winning digital cameras and desktop scanners announced today that it has lowered the price on the SnapScan 1236u - its SOHO-designed, flatbed scanner A scanner that provides a flat, glass surface to hold pages of paper, books and other objects for scanning. The scan head is moved under the glass across the page. Sheet feeders are usually optionally available that allow multiple sheets to be fed automatically. . Effective immediately, the SnapScan 1236u is available in the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  for the suggested price of $179.

By reducing the suggested price of the SnapScan 1236u, Agfa continues its ongoing commitment to give home users the benefit of its professional imaging experience - at an affordable price.
