As the devastation inflicted by Hurricane Katrina Editing of this page by unregistered or newly registered users is currently disabled due to vandalism.  became evident, Julia B. Fee Real Estate jumped into action and began utilizing its resources to help with hurricane relief efforts.

George M. Stone, Managing Principal of Julia B. Fee Real Estate, said, "After viewing the destruction caused by Hurricane Katrina, the immediate need to help those who have lost their homes and so much more was instantly recognized by all Julia B. Fee Real Estate agents."

A free concert at the Rye Arts Center on September 10, sponsored by Julia B. Fee Real Estate, was immediately turned into a fund raising event at which attendees made voluntary donations.

The money collected was matched by Julia B. Fee Real Estate and contributed to "Americares."

After learning that the students at Purchase College were organizing a concert and silent auction on September 9 to generate proceeds for relief efforts, Julia B. Fee Real Estate donated two iPods which helped generate interest amongst the student population. The student run event helped raise over $8,500 for Katrina victims.

One of the smaller organizations that Julia B. Fee Real Estate reached out to was the Wesley United Methodist Church Wesley United Methodist Church is a common name. It can refer to several churches in the United States:

 in Beaumont, Texas Beaumont is a city and county seat of Jefferson County, Texas and is within the Beaumont-Port Arthur metropolitan area. As of the 2000 U.S. Census, the city had a population of 113,866.  which is providing shelter to displaced victims.

Anne Moretti, a Julia B. Fee Real Estate agent from the Scarsdale office, connected the firm with the church via relatives from Texas.

The Church's top request was for new, packaged undergarments for homeless families. Donations from the agents in the Scarsdale office, matched by Julia B. Fee Real Estate, were used to purchase the requested items.

Assisted in their "shopping spree" by local merchants, including Daniel Distasi, the Customer Service Manager of K-Mart in White Plains, Julia B. Fee Real Estate agents packed up ample amounts of underwear, socks and t-shirts and shipped them off to the Church.

Through local Westchester County school districts, Julia B. Fee learned that the "Big Buddy Organization" in Baton Rouge Baton Rouge (băt`ən rzh) [Fr.,=red stick], city (1990 pop. 219,531), state capital and seat of East Baton Rouge parish, SE La.  was working to reunite homeless school children with their families in addition to setting up temporary elementary schools for the displaced children.

Big Buddy's requests included backpacks filled with school supplies, so Julia B. Fee Real Estate organized a company wide drive which gathered over 100 backpacks filled with the necessary provisions. Parent volunteers from the Harrison School district picked up the engorged en·gorge
