Agent Logic, the leading supplier of Event Detection and Response(TM) software and solutions, today announced the release of version 4.0 of its Enterprise Agent Server ("EAS") product. Available immediately, EAS gives end users the power to rapidly define personalized rules to correlate and alert based on the occurrence of business events across the enterprise, such as geographic position updates, new data from messaging systems, customer service requests, electronic transactions and more.

The Enterprise Agent Server delivers a complete set of Event Detection and Response capabilities, including Complex Event Processing, real-time alerting, user-driven rule creation, and automated response triggering. EAS detects events across disparate sources, such as sensors, enterprise applications, and databases, and then automatically performs correlation through the analysis of user-defined rules that are configured from within EAS Web interfaces. When a rule indicates that an event of interest has been found, or when exceptions or anomalies occur, any number of actions can then be initiated, including e-mail and instant message alerts, Web Service and business process activation, and real-time browser display.

Now a fourth-generation product, the Enterprise Agent Server has been supporting commercial and U.S. national security initiatives for more than three years, proving its reliability and performance time and again in some of the world's most demanding IT environments.

For commercial enterprises, EAS 4.0 provides the same proven capabilities that make it an indispensable tool for Event Detection and Response within government agencies. For example, Agent Logic's solution for Sales Force Automation automatically monitors multiple business systems and applications, keeping key employees proactively apprised of critical customer activity, including product shipment details, customer support requests, billing discrepancies, and more. Simultaneously, the solution also monitors Internet data sources, such as RSS feeds, for information related to those same important customers and prospects. End users have complete control over the monitoring and alerting that EAS performs.
