Agency helps WTC web campaign.


The World Trade Center Memorial Foundation announced that Agency.com (www.agency.cpm), the full-service interactive agency, will help drive the Foundation's online marketing strategy. Working in conjunction with TBWA\Chiat\Day, the award-winning advertising agency, Agency.com's New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of
 office will develop the interactive component of the national outreach campaign. Both agencies are providing services on a volunteer basis.

Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Gretchen Dykstra Gretchen Dykstra is the previous President and CEO of the World Trade Center Memorial Foundation. The former Commissioner of New York City's Department of Consumer Affairs, Dykstra left that post in April of 2005 to head up the foundation, which is entrusted with raising funds for . "As we build the physical memorial, our website, www.buildthememorial.org, creates a virtual Memorial dedicated to honoring that day. Agency.com will marshal An English word that means to arrange into a particular order as a means of preparation. See data marshalling.  its resources in order to produce a compelling online campaign which will enhance our website and gather support from around the world. We look forward to working with them to launch the online campaign in the spring."

In November, the Foundation announced the creation of the WTC WTC World Trade Center, see there  Memorial Communications Advisory Council, comprised of advertising and media industry leaders. The Council will secure media resources for the advertising campaign, which will be a comprehensive multi-media campaign to generate broad-based financial support for the Memorial. The Foundation and the Advisory Council expect to launch the national campaign in the spring.

Agency.com will create interactive components working from the current website developed by online strategy firm EchoDitto, Inc. Currently, visitors to the website can make donations, share their personal 9/11 story, sign the petition for a commemorative stamp A commemorative stamp is a postage stamp issued to honor or commemorate a place, event or person. Most postal services of the world issue several of these each year, often holding first day of issue ceremonies at locations connected with the subjects.  and vote for their favorite design.
